Before You Begin
To opt into Hostshare Advanced™, you must:
✔️ Have at least one listing added to Hostshare
✔️ Be an active subscribed member (free-trial accounts cannot join Advanced)
✔️ Have your listing live under Last-Minute (existing hosts skip the import step)
If you still need to add your listing, use one of these:
Once your listing is added, you're ready for Advanced.
Steps to Opt Into Hostshare Advanced™
1. Click “Activate Advanced Travel”
You can access this from several places in the app, including the top navigation bar, the travel date selector, or under Settings → Travel & Sharing.
2. Click “Join the Beta”
This begins your onboarding flow. If you are not a subscribed member, you must subscribe in order to join Hostshare Advanced.
3. Toggle on “Activate Advanced Travel”
Flip the switch to activate Advanced.
Important: All listings that are active on Last-Minute must also be active on Advanced. You cannot selectively opt in some listings and not others.
4. Allow the system to optimize your blockout dates
Hostshare automatically protects your most valuable dates based on:
Local demand
Pricing
Seasonality
Holidays
5. Review and set your blockout dates
Click "Review Your Blockouts". You’ll be shown all pre-selected blockouts and can adjust them before completing setup. More details on setting your blockout dates can be found here.
Important Note:
You can continue adjusting your blockout dates for up to 7 days after completing setup. Once those 7 days pass, your blockout dates will lock for the next 90 days and cannot be edited until that window resets.
6. Agree to the Share Pledge + Terms, then click “Complete Setup”
Confirm your blockout days, then continue to the final step, agreeing to the Share Pledge and Terms of Membership. Check the confirmation box, then complete setup.
7. You’re all set! 🎉
You’ll see a confirmation screen letting you know:
Your setup is saved
Blockout editing unlocks shortly during the beta
Advanced booking becomes fully active in early December
