We still believe in last-minute travel built on trust and shared availability—but now, you can plan ahead while still protecting your highest-revenue nights.

With Hostshare Advanced, we’ve finally cracked that balance.

You unlock Advanced Travel by opting in and setting your blockout calendar. Once enabled, your property can receive bookings up to 6 months ahead—while protecting the nights you choose to keep private.

You can book trips up to 7 nights long, slightly longer than the 5-night limit for last-minute stays.

Your travel nights can be used for either advanced or last-minute bookings—no splitting or separate pools.

A small booking fee applies only when you book a stay using Hostshare Advanced. The fee is based on your trip savings compared to a similar Airbnb booking and helps sustain the network, ensure fair distribution of bookings, and keep Hostshare growing—while you still save significantly on every trip.

Hosts receive up to 270 blockout days per year, based on their average nightly rate.
Blockout dates are prorated in your first year, with the full allotment available the

following year.

We’ve partnered with Wheelhouse™ to bring AI-driven insights into your Hostshare calendar.
Wheelhouse analyzes real-time market data, local events, and booking activity to recommend which nights should be protected as high-value.

Each date receives a Bookability Score™ (0–100) that predicts how likely it is to get booked:

You can manually edit, add, or remove blockout dates, as long as you maintain the required 7-day minimum availability window.
Blockouts can be adjusted for 7 days after setting them; after that, the next 90 days lock, but future dates remain editable.

Any existing reservations or blocked dates synced from external calendars (Airbnb, VRBO, PMS, etc.) are automatically included in your blockout total and can’t be edited.
This ensures you’re not adding six months of extra nights beyond what’s actually open.
