Hostshare Cancellation Policy
Because the nature of the Hostshare Platform is last minute stays, we allow free cancellations for up to one hour after the time of booking.
Free Cancellation Period
Members can cancel for free within one hour of booking a stay. This policy is in place to give members the chance to cancel if there was an error when booking or a change in circumstances.
If you cancel your stay within this window, you will receive:
A full refund of any payment made.
Reinstatement of any free nights used for the booking.
This policy also gives hosts peace of mind, knowing that there will not be a last minute cancellation after accommodations have been made for their property.
Non-Refundable Period
After the one-hour window, your booking becomes non-refundable. We enforce this policy to provide stability and assurance for both our hosts and guests planning their stays. If you cancel your booking beyond the one-hour free cancellation period:
You will not receive a refund for your stay.
Any free nights applied to the booking will not be returned to your account.
This policy helps ensure that our hosts can manage their properties effectively and that guests are committed to their bookings.
Extenuating Circumstances
During our beta phase, we recognize that there may be extenuating circumstances that could necessitate a cancellation beyond the standard policy. If you find yourself in a situation that might warrant an exception, please contact us directly.
