1. No Refunds
We do not offer refunds for Hostshare Memberships. Once a payment has been made, it is considered final and non-refundable. We encourage users to review their membership details carefully before completing payment. In the event of an issue or dispute, please reach out to our support team, and we will do our best to assist you. However, please note that refunds are not available for any membership fees already paid, regardless of the reason for cancellation or change of mind.
2. Membership Cancellations
You may cancel your account by contacting us directly though please note the following conditions regarding cancellations:
Mid-Cycle Cancellations: If you cancel your account before the end of your billing cycle and have not yet reached your maximum share nights (as outlined in your account terms), and you have used the platform to travel, your account will be permanently banned from our platform. In such cases, you will not be eligible to rejoin in the future.
Cancellation Due to Property Sale or Loss: In the event that you need to cancel your membership and unlist due to the sale or shutdown of your property before the end of your billing cycle and you have not yet reached your maximum share nights (as outlined in your account terms), you must provide verifiable proof of the occurrence. This could include, but is not limited to, a formal sale agreement, a legal notice, or any relevant documentation showing the transfer of ownership or shutdown of the property. Please note that while we will not refund your membership fee, your account may not be banned from the platform under these circumstances.
Cancelling on the Free Trial: Users on the Hostshare free trial may unlist or cancel their listing at any time without penalty, as long as no bookings are affected. However, if a booking has been made and a host refuses to honor the booking made, they will be permanently banned from the platform without the possibility of rejoining in the future. We encourage clear communication regarding changes to listings or availability and ask that users reach out to support if they encounter any issues that may affect their ability to honor bookings.
