Money-Back Guarantee
Hostshare memberships are non-refundable once payment has been made, as outlined in our Membership Cancellation & Refund Policy. However, to give members peace of mind, we offer a one-time Money-Back Guarantee if your first completed booking through Hostshare does not go well.
Eligibility
A refund of the initial membership fee may be considered under this guarantee only when:
The first booking has been completed (refunds do not apply if a host cancels or refuses to honor a reservation).
The booking was unsatisfactory due to one or more of the following:
Cleanliness or habitability issues (e.g., unsanitary conditions, mold, pests).
Host non-compliance during the stay (e.g., major misrepresentation of the property).
Safety concerns (e.g., hazardous property conditions not disclosed in the listing).
Failure to access or use the property during the stay (e.g., no check-in instructions provided or the guest was unable to enter the property).
Review Process
A full review will be conducted by Hostshare Support to determine eligibility.
Supporting documentation may be required, such as photos, videos, or communication with the host.
If approved, a refund will be issued for the initial membership fee only. Travel nights, credits, or additional booking fees are not refundable under this policy.
Exclusions
Refunds are not available prior to completing a first booking.
Refunds are not issued for host cancellations or refusals to honor a booking (these are handled separately under Hostshare’s platform compliance policies).
Personal preference issues (such as décor, location, or minor inconveniences) are not eligible.
Only the first completed booking qualifies — all subsequent bookings are subject to standard policies.

Refund requests must be submitted to Hostshare Support ([email protected]) within 7 days of completing the first booking.
FAQ
Does the Money-Back Guarantee apply if my host cancels or refuses my booking?
No. This guarantee only applies after a completed first stay. Host cancellations or refusals are treated separately under platform compliance rules but are not covered by this refund guarantee.
Can I get a refund before I make a booking?
No. Membership payments are non-refundable once paid. The Money-Back Guarantee applies only after your first booking has been completed.
What kind of issues qualify for a refund?
Serious problems such as unsanitary conditions, safety hazards, or inability to use the property during the stay may qualify. Personal preference issues (such as location, décor, or amenities not to your taste) do not.

Contact Hostshare Support within 7 days of completing your first booking. Provide details of the issue, along with any supporting documentation. A full review will be conducted before a refund decision is made.
